Young Adults Enjoy Boost in Health Care Coverage

Thanks to Obamacare, young adults are enjoying an unprecedented leap in health care coverage. More than a million and a half of Americans between the ages of 19 and 25 now have health insurance as a result of the Affordable Care Act, an increase of six percent since 2010. According to a study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of uninsured Americans fell for the first time in four years, driven in large part by the fact that young adults are now able to stay on their parents' health insurance plans until their 26th birthday.
