a. Sister District Project Rita Bosworth
Risa Bosworth shared information regarding Sister District project. Goal is to take back House but need to start at State level. There are 20,000 members. Asked that members visit website at www.sisterdistrict.com. They are focusing on Virginia seats up for reelection now.
b. Fill Vacancy in AD29
Dave Poeschel elected unanimously to fill vacancy in AD29
c. Democratic Unity Dinner update
Dinner is May 12, Bill asked members to attend and buy tickets ASAP. Sales are behind from last year.
d. Bylaws Review Committee Report Helen Chapman shared update from Bylaw Committee requested revisions from floor will go back to E-board for recommended inclusion on May 16th. Final version will be submitted for approval at June meeting.
e. CDP Convention Update
Convention is May 19th May 21st. Single Payer Health Care will have a table. Those delegates not attending please have proxy forms submitted a.s.a.p.

a. Executive Board/Chair: Bill James
Working with Stanislaus County Democratic Party, talked about passage of TrumpCare thru House. Provided update on actions taken by E-Board. At June meeting will present info on role of UDC. Thanked the SCCDC for providing dinner.
b. Vice Chair: John Comiskey Working on Precinct Captain program. Organized meeting with Bart and Jeff Cardenas to speak with Orchard City Indivisible Group. May be available to address other groups as well.
c. Treasurer: Angelica Ramos Dues are due if you need pay please see her.
d. Secretary: Helen Chapman Reported on Bylaw committee meeting.
e. Issues: Shay Franco-Clausen Looking to gather input on issues.
f. Community Services and Voter Registration: Judy Pipkin Working on Voter registration training. Juan offered to help.
g. Finance: Prameela Bartholomeusz Bill shared in her absence Prameela is working on fundraising plan.
h. Endorsements Chair: Clarence Madrilejos Reviewing endorsement process and is working with Alex and Club Chairs.
i. Communications: David Cohen SCCDC is active on Social Media, friend or follow us on Twitter to get latest news.
j. Gender Equity and the Status of Women: Jean Cohen DAWN purchasing table for Unity Dinner. Dawn hosted training for women wanting to run for office.
k. Campaign Services: Jeff Cardenas Working on phone banking across the country to flip seats, i.e. Jon Ossoff There is special election phone banking for Rob Quist (Montana) on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Headquarters.

David Urhausen reporting they are organizing phone banking. Calling into 49th Congressional District (Darrell Issa) to oppose his reelection.

Deepka shared update on last club meeting. They are working on getting more students involved.
Bangladeshi Dem Coalition
Nasreem Rahim was re-elected as President. VP is Tahina Haq.
Held event on Sunday. Thanked Emy Thurber and Steve Chessin for their presentations and Angelica Ramos for her talk on electing women.
Shay announced Ash Kalra is holding Town Hall on Immigration issues on May 13, 2017 at 9 am. Also shared there is a bus fundraiser available to delegates for Kimberly Ellis leaving at 10am Friday, May 19, 2017 from the San Jose Elks Lodge.
Gina Gates announced issue with Santana Row promotion event name for Cinco de Mayo.
Olivia Navarro announced Evan Low is holding event mixer at the Convention as well as Ed Hernandez.
